Leah is originally from Arizona but likes to think of herself as a California convert. Leah earned her B.A. from Santa Clara University where she majored in English and philosophy, was on the DI Women’s Rowing team, and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is currently pursuing her PhD in English at UC Irvine where she is focusing on rhetoric and composition studies. For fun, she loves endurance sports, painting, and, of course, enjoying the sunshine at the beach.
Leah looks forward to helping students give narrative to their own, unique stories to create memorable and compelling essays. She is thrilled to be part of such an exciting and pivotal time in young students’ lives and hopes to help them find confidence in their writing and, hopefully, have some fun along the way.
